TAVI Placement - PueblaCare

This is a minimally invasive procedure, a new heart valve is inserted without removing the old damaged valve. The new valve is placed inside the damaged valve.

Valve replacement is traditionally done through open heart surgery, where the chest is surgically opened for the procedure.

The difference with TAVI is that it is performed through very small openings in the arm or groin, so it is not necessary to cut any bones in the chest.
